Asphalt Testing

Our asphalt laboratory is staffed by Asphalt Institute Certified Engineers and technicians. Some of our most desired services are preparing mix designs for various projects and paving works, in-situ density determinations, extraction and gradation tests, strength and volumetric tests to verify that your asphalt mix conforms to your project specifications. All preparations and tests are performed according to the relevant ASTM and British Standards.

In addition to the services mentioned above, over the years, our staff have successfully completed numerous QA/QC projects, obtaining asphalt pavement cores from numerous project sites across the island.  These samples are brought back to the lab, cleaned, photographed and the number of asphalt layers and their respective thicknesses are determined and recorded.
